Little Bear - Sugar Addict
It’s been a while since we wrote anything about the animals living in our home. Daisy continues to be saintly and the best behaved dog we’ve ever owned. We just celebrated her 8 year adoption anniversary yesterday! So thank you to Daisy for just be awesome!
On another note, Little Bear continues to try to be well behaved, but has the occasional slip up just like last week. If you follow our social media, you likely noticed one of us one in Mexico City for work. I love Mexico City for many reasons. Their pastries are so inexpensive and delicious that I often buy enough for my entire crew that I’m working with and some to bring home to my family. When I walked in the door from that trip last week, Little Bear immediately sniffed out the pastries and would not give me any space to walk into the house. I thought nothing of it as he eventually gave up and walked away. Later that night after we were all sound asleep, I was awakened by the crinkling sounds of plastic wrappers. I got up to find Little Bear eating the last pastry. I was not happy and neither were my kids even though they never saw the pastries.
And on yet another note, Little Bear also discovered my wife’s candy stash in her closet that she brings to all the high school football games we go to every week. The pom team always tosses candy bags to the crowd after the end of the 3rd quarter mostly as a way to get kids to hang in one more quarter without the invevitable whining/complaining sessions about it being too cold/hot/nice/long of a game/etc. So Little Bear also helped himself to a few bags of candy including pop rocks, laffy taffy, starbursts, and many more. That dog has a nose for sugar and can sniff it out anywhere we hide it within his reach. Crazy dog!
Of note, Daisy would never ever misbehave like Little Bear. But they both make us laugh every day. So thanks again, Daisy, for being you and thanks again, Little Bear, for making us laugh.
