Little Bear

Little Bear - our dog (one of them)

This is Little Bear. He was adopted by us in July 2020 when we thought he was 3 years old. Turned out he was only 2 years old, which explains his puppy ways when we first got him. Today, he is about 5 years old and has matured a lot. He still makes us laugh everyday and is one of the most photogenic dogs we’ve ever met. We call him our super model dog with his luxurious hair and beautiful eyes.

He is a silly dog that loves wearing hats, sunglasses, and costumes, if we ever found any costumes that would fit him. He rests in the most bizarre positions and loves snuggling up as close as he possibly can to people and cuddling.

Little Bear has many aliases. Around our home, you’ll often hear Little Bro, Broseph, LB, White Ball, Daruk (after Zelda Breathe of the Wild), Princess Little Bear, Angel-on-Earth-in-training to name a few. Little Bear loves a good cuddle session, hair brushing, napping, barking at perceived threats (crows, coyotes, and possums are his worst enemies), and shedding EVERYWHERE! It’s a full time job cleaning up his hair around our house. He loves only drinking water out of our swimming pool and will often steal any treats off the counter especially if it contains chocolate. He has eaten an entire jar of Nutella that he managed to open somehow, several bags of bagels, those giant chocolate Easter bunnies, and the occasional avocado for healthy fats. They say dogs are allergic to chocolate, but this guy LOVES chocolate and can sniff it out like the best of them. He has survived many chocolate filled holidays where our kids have forgotten to hide their chocolate treats. He has made us keep our countertops clean. So thank you for that LIttle Bro.

We’ll post pictures and updates of him and Daisy, our other Great Pyrenees, throughout our journey in this coffee venture.
